September 2022 - Spanish Fork Happenings

Roll Up Crepes is opening September 10th at 39 E 1000 N in the Macey’s shopping center.  They specialize in sweet and savory crepes as well as paninis, soups, salads, and more.

Harvest Moon Hurrah takes place on September 10 from 3-8pm at the Library Park. This event is free and open to the public and features kids crafts and entertainment.

JDawgs is under construction and is hoping to be open September 16.  They will feature a drive through at their location in the same building as Handels.

The annual Wings and Wheels “Utah’s festival of Speed” is being held on September 24th from 8am-7pm at the Spanish Fork Airport 2050 N 300 W.  Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate with everyone 11 years old and up requiring a ticket.  The show features parachutes, skydiving, airshow, exotic car street racing, food trucks, and a lot more. Go to SFCityTix.com to purchase tickets.

Chipotle is nearing completion at 841 E HWY 6 (between Chick-fil-A and Jiffy Lube) and they hope to be open in September.

Food Truck Friday continues until the end of September every Friday from 5-8pm in the Library Park.

Spanish Fork’s Compassion Mobility in conjunction with UTV Utah is having a Trunk or Treat & Light Parade at Provo Towne Center on October 8 at 7pm for children with disabilities.  Bring your SxS, car or truck and make some kids happy!  For more information, visit Compassion Mobility’s Facebook page.

Swig is under construction in the Walmart Neighborhood Market shopping center next to the gas station at 898 S 2550 E.  The building has two separate businesses and once the other business is disclosed, I will announce it here.

The real estate market has been on a wild rollercoaster ride of ups and downs with great rewards for buyers that aren’t afraid to purchase in this market.  As interest rates fluctuate, prices have slightly declined as buyer demand has decreased.  The Feds are meeting again in September and that likely means rates will be on the move!  Will they go up?  Or will they go down?  I will keep you updated on the real estate market as the news breaks. As always, I’m here to help you decide what works best for you. Give me a call to get a free market analysis of your home!

  1. We are residents of Spanish Fork and are purchasing a food trailer. It will be ready the first part of October of this year. I noticed the Food Truck Friday only goes to the end of September. If the weather is still good can we park there on Friday or Saturday nights? Our business name is Big Papa’s Tri Tip sandwiches. Thank you!

  2. According to the President of Swig, they are NOT currently building a 3rd location in Spanish Fork. Could you double check that?
