Spanish Fork Development Updates

New Businesses and Openings:

  • Zurchers is set to open by June 30th in the former JoAnn’s location at 1082 N Main Street.
  • Spitz, specializing in Mediterranean food, plans to open at the end of May in the old WingNuts space. Keep an eye out for grand opening details!
  • Bath and Body Works is currently under construction at 1271 N Canyon Creek Pkwy and is expected to open this Summer.
  • Blue Unicorn, a plant-based protein bar company, is opening soon. It will be located between Maplewood Events center and Nebo Gymnastics. More details are forthcoming.
  • Bank of Utah is opening soon in the same shopping plaza as Mtn Mike Pizza, joining the apparent “bank row” competition in Spanish Fork.
  • CC Bank will be building a new location at the corner of SF Pkwy and Canyon Creek Pkwy (also known as bank row). Their current location is next to Chevron on Kirby Lane. A timeline for construction is not yet available.

Construction and Community Projects:

  • A new hotel has broken ground on Commerce Way next to Panda Express. The company owning the hotel is currently being fact-checked, and updates will follow.
  • The Willie Barn at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds is being rebuilt. This project includes upgraded amenities and improved space. Construction begins in August and is scheduled for completion by March 2027.
  • Volunteers are needed to help plant and beautify the Main Street flower beds on May 16th, from 8am-12pm. To sign up, please email awall@spanishfork.gov.

The current real estate market is demanding. With increased inventory, sellers must recognize that overpricing a home will significantly deter interest…it simply won’t get showings. To succeed, sellers must be willing to accept their agent’s advice, avoid “shooting for the stars” on price, and ensure their home is in pristine, show-ready condition. This means eliminating all personal touches; we need to see clear counters, no shoes in the hallway, and frankly, no evidence that the house is currently lived in.
