DP Cheesesteaks inside the Chevron on Hwy 6 & Canyon Creek Pkwy is opening next week. I spoke with the manager and he’s planning on finishing everything for that timeline. 

Spanish Fork City is participating in a “GreenXchange” program.  You can trade in a gas powered piece of yard equipment for a rebate to purchase an electric version.  For more details, go to Exchange Program Step 1 – RenewChoice

McDonald’s is working on getting permits and zoning changes completed to open a location near Arrowhead Trail and S Main Street (UT-198).

Many people are asking what is being built next to Harbor Freight. It is the same type of concept that is being built up by the neighborhood Walmart off Hwy 6. There will be a variety of stores but nothing has been confirmed yet. Once I know, I’ll post to my social media pages. 

Spanish Fork Library has a “seed library” where you can take seeds to plant in your yard for free. They ask that you only take what you need and you also aren’t required to have a library card. All the details can be found here: https://www.spanishfork.org/news_detail_T17_R553.php

A master planned community named “Harmony Ridge” is currently under construction at the mouth of Spanish Fork canyon. Edge Homes is building over 800 units (townhomes, condos, and single-family homes) on nearly 500 acres. It will include parks, trails and lots of open space. In real estate news, the market is picking up! Rates have slowly been declining and the Feds are expected to lower interest rates throughout 2024. If you were waiting for home prices to drop, that ship sailed in 2023. (Sorry 😬) There was no crash, but simply a re-adjustment as we took our foot off the gas pedal from historically low interest rates. Now, as rates trend downward, things are going to pick up again! We are already seeing multiple offer situations and I expect things to get pretty wild in the next couple of months. Waiting will cost more money. Call me and let’s discuss your options.
