Spanish Fork City’s 2025 City Election is now open until 5pm on Friday, June 6th. There are two openings for city council members and one opening for mayor. If you’re interested in running, go to https://www.spanishfork.gov/government/elections/index.php
Ashton’s Burger Barn will be opening soon in Stan’s Drive In’s previous restaurant in Salem. Ashton’s features high quality burgers, shakes and more. They also offer a variety of butchered meats available for purchase. They are hoping to be open sometime in June!
Food Truck Friday’s continue in the City Park (49 S Main) until the end of September. Each week they feature different food trucks from 5-8pm as well as coincide with activities in the park depending on the week (this Friday, Wild Robot starts at dusk). Utah Valley Parade of Homes runs June 5th-21th from noon-9pm and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. If you love walking through multimillion dollar homes that you can’t afford, this is right up your alley. To get tickets and information regarding the homes, go to https://uvparade.com/web/
A much needed traffic signal has been installed on SF Pkwy and Canyon Creek Pkwy.
The Spanish Fork Rivertrail section from Poplar Lane Trailhead to Canyon View Park will be closed until approximately June 10th for asphalt repairs. Please be cautious when in the area.
UDOT will be working on Highway 6 at night to install the final layer of roadway surface along with rumble strips in the shoulders of US-6 between I-15 and US-89 at the mouth of Spanish Fork Canyon.
